Oh the hypocrisy!!! My music is on my neglected MySpace page. And in secret folders and bins.

I didn't know that lala had switched models. Lately I've been using Blip.fm a lot for listening to, finding and sharing music.

What bugs me about Lala is the reason I joined: to trade CDs. They have seemed to totally marginalize that awesome service so they can do what others are already doing? I don't see Lala doing anything that iTunes, Amazon, emusic and MP3tunes.com aren't doing already, except for trading CDs.
It's funny, they had a feedback section on their main page for a while that was filled with sad and angry CD traders and now it's a post-only feature.

Also Emporer X rules. I still have his song "Laminating Factory" Dailysonic recorded under a bridge on my various electronic playback machines.

And... streaming from my computer for super cheap. Can't you turn the CD sharing thing back on?
  • eagleapex · 9 months ago
Yes, but the more they hide the feature, the more the pool of traders shrinks.
The streaming is cool too. Add SimplifyMedia to the list of combined services.

One thing I don't like about Lala is that it allows my boyfriend to stalk me instead of letting me listen to my sometimes silly music in the privacy of my own cocoon :-P

What? I don't know what you are talking about.
